The Department of Health (DOH) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Philippines has issued a product recall to 6 Korean noodle products found by Korean FDA to contain Benzopyrene, a chemical with carcinogenic potential.
The government is also undertaking inspection, collection and testing of other brands of noodles not currently identified to be contaminated as a precaution.

The public is advised to avoid buying these products and report to FDA if this brands are still in the market. If you have these products, please dispose of them as they are not fit for consumption and might be dangerous to your health.
