Pilipinas Go4Health Movement

The Department of Health (DOH) officially launched its nationwide healthy lifestyle movement called “Pilipinas Go4Health Movement“. It aims to inform and encourage Filipinos from all walks of life to practice a healthy lifestyle by making a personal commitment to physical activity, proper nutrition, and the prevention or cessation of smoking and alcohol consumption. Through the movement, DOH and its partners work together to promote and establish a sustainable environment for healthy living.

Go4Health Movement focus on 4 key areas:

  1. Go Sigla which encourages physical activity
  2. Go Sustansya for proper nutrition
  3. Go Smoke-Free
  4. Go Slow sa Tagay for the prevention or cessation of smoking and harmful use of alcohol.

DOH also launched a dedicated website for Pilipinas Go4Health Movement and allows you to register online to get updates and get involved with the community. You can also follow DOH and Go4Health on Twitter. Also, you can use the hashtag #Go4HealthPH to get involved with the community by asking questions or sharing tips regarding healthy lifestyle.
