Dar Al Shifa Hospital, one of the largest and first private hospital in Kuwait, recently announced that they will be needing more than 300 female nurses and medical staff. One of these days, a delegate of Ministry of Health of Kuwait will visit the Philippines to conduct free examination for interested and qualified applicants.
“Usually, we hire Filipino nurses more than 10 years now. I’m going to the Philippines to hire nurses. They are excellent nurses. Most Kuwaiti hospitals prefer to hire nurses from Philippines,” Dr. Shaya Hakeem said, consultant of Kuwait Ministry of Health.
Dr. Hakeem said that they prefer Filipino nurses because of having strong educational background and performance. Currently, there are already more than 200 Filipino nurses working in their hospital.
“Currently, we have around 1,400 staff, 20% of them are from Philippines. We have good experience with them and we have good support and positive cooperation from the Philippine embassy. So if you are willing to join Dar Al Shifa and be part of our big family, please join us,” according to Samah el-Assaad, deputy human resources manager of Dar Al Shifa Hospital.
